Doug Glovaski

I believe art has the abilitty and the power to change the perpectives of a viewer by evoking an emotional or psycological response whether it is contemplative or exhuberant. This is my motivation and inspiration when I make art. My work has always been a process of exploration into possibilities. Through the years I have created many different series of work in an attempt to realize and produce as much as I can. I tend to work on a particular series and carry it as far as I can and then move on to something else. I may come back to it at some point and create a new version of it by addition or subtraction but I am always seeking new ways to express my ideas through painting and drawing. For me, art is always in flux and moving.
