Reinhard Görner

I began working as a freelance photographer on commission for architects in the early 1980s. In the early 2000s, I increasingly pursued independent artistic projects and began offering my work on the art market. For about 15 years, I have been exploring the theme of libraries—a work in progress. My portfolio now includes photographs of approximately 130 fascinating historical and contemporary libraries. Other series I am working on include, for example, close-ups of painting details, as well as a series on the theme of “plant spaces.”
